Welcome Message

Configure a welcome message that will be shown to your users when they log in to your organization's DocuChat instance.

Welcome messages help you effectively communicate with your team members when they access DocuChat. Common uses include:

  • Sharing important announcements or updates
  • Providing onboarding instructions for new users
  • Highlighting key features or best practices
  • Communicating organizational policies or guidelines

Configuration

You can customize several aspects of the welcome message:

  • Show Frequency: Control when users see the welcome message:
    • Never: The message will not be displayed
    • Once: Shows only on the user's first successful login
    • Every Time: Displays whenever the user opens the app
  • Title: Set the heading that appears at the top of the welcome message
    • Displayed next to your organization logo
    • Example: "Welcome to DocuChat!"
  • Content: Add the main message content
    • Supports Markdown formatting for text styling (bold, italic, lists, etc.)
    • Can include links, code blocks, and other formatted text

Appearance

The welcome message appears as a modal dialog when users log in:

  • Your organization logo is shown at the top
  • The title appears prominently below the logo
  • The main content is displayed in the body
  • A "Let's get started!" button allows users to dismiss the message

You can use the "Preview Welcome Message" button to see exactly how your message will appear to users before saving changes.
